Online Lecture Series

These lectures are open to anyone who is interested! They are based on the popular weekly lecture series that Michael Vertolli offered a number of years ago when Living Earth School was located in Toronto. Each lecture is on a single topic. You may view it as a streamed video file. An alternative audio file is also available if you do not have efficient high-speed internet access or wish to listen to them in an environment where viewing a video is not appropriate. For each lecture you will be provided with a PDF handout with supplementary information. There is also a forum from which you can ask questions on the lecture content as well as have access to the answers to questions from other students. For students already enrolled in online courses, these lectures provide useful supplementary information on specialized topics.

There are no prerequisites for these lectures. The cost is $20 per lecture. You may register for them at any time. Click here to register.

• Immune Support and the Natural Treatment of Colds and Flu

  This lecture looks at factors that both reduce and support immune function. How lifestyle, diet and the use of natural remedies can help boost immune function and treat colds and flu is discussed in detail, with the major focus being on the use of herbs. Detailed information is provided in both the lecture and the accompanying handout on how to create effective herbal formulations for these applications for both adults and children.
